Osteria Angolo Masuccio

Lovely restaurant in the backstreets of the old town. The staff were friendly and efficient. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. The restaurant isn’t overly large which means they do a few things well. The pasta with truffle was delicious. The pasta itself was light even though it looks like spaghetti on steroids. The sauce is also light, but definitely packs a punch of truffle. The fish croquettes were tasty but the pasta was better. For main we had the tuna & the blue fish. The blue fish was stunning, the yogurt served with it was a great accompaniment even if the pink one was a bit off putting. The tuna was really good but was quite rare, my partner wouldn’t eat it so you might want to ask for it to be cooked more if you don’t like it that way. The main surprise was the €16 bottle of house white. It was complex and delicious. Had a lovely evening here

For me, this was the only truly Italian food experience I had during this trip on the Amafli Coast. The food was delicious, but the waiter made our visit memorable. He explained the menu and the differences between the dishes. He offered us limoncello on the house, candy and handmade flowers.

We stayed 3 days in Salerno and were coming here for dinner 3 times. The food is mouthwatering, staff is very professional, friendly, kind and makes the dining experience really great and inspiring. At the very last night in Salerno the host even gifted us the cute handmade souvenir as a memory of our stay. I would come back here again and again.

You can either have seafood pasta or seafood menu. The food is good. I recommend grilled squid and salmon tartare. By the way every table will order a cocktail of limoncello. After a long day this place takes care of us well.

This restaurant is among the best I have ever visited. The atmosphere is truly remarkable, and the food is simply flawless — my mouth still waters when I think about the pasta. The staff were exceptionally friendly and efficient, and the dessert was light and perfectly balanced in sweetness. It was, in every way, perfect. I will tell my children about this place — it was an unforgettable experience.
